  1. The problem

NHS Frontline face an escalating crisis of violence and abuse. Over 217,000 incidents of physical abuse against NHS workers, 2024 alone [LBC 2025] – over 15,000 more than previous year. That’s one assault every two minutes. These physical attacks are deeply psychological, undermining morale, retention, effectiveness and wellbeing. NHS organisations still rely on outdated lone worker protocols: manual checkins, paper logs, expensive hardware lacking integration, scalability. Nurses describe as “Not Fit for Purpose”. These methods fail to provide realtime support, data visibility, rapid response leaving staff exposed and managers uninformed.

  2. How it works

Keeping your NHS workforce safe, trained, engaged and compliant is difficult. SafeTeam brings you a managed service, built just for NHS teams. By reducing the repetitive, difficult tasks associated with managing a remote lone workforce, modernising technology supported by our managed service, you can focus on patients and we'll make sure your workforce is equipped, trained, and protected.

  3. Impact

SafeTeam improved training compliance >92% at divisional scale. 100% of users found SafeTeam easy to use, and 70% reported feeling safer. This rose to 80% at LUHFT. Data: Alder Hey, UHL, MerseyCare. Reduced adverse events – providing PPE at previously unachieved scale Improved training compliance <3% to >92% Reduced alarm delivery time to <5sec Reduced median alarm event duration total to < 5mins Automated post event outcomes reporting Evidenced clinical & non clinical contact, over delivery of contract Evidenced Grey Fleet carbon for actual engine on duty miles – baselining
